She knows you can see her messages, she knows you're probably reading them and now shes just wondering why isnt he responding.

Sure maybe it'll make her be more grateful when you actually respond, but is that the kind of person you want to be to a girl you've already hit it off with and have already made plans with to go out next week?

Like /u/heartfuelLV said, theres no reason to not text her, especially if you and her have fun texting her. You just seem like a 15 year old girl when you play dumb games like that.

If your doing anything to get some validation then your doing it wrong.

If your doing it for self amusement and you think it'll be fucking awesome to tease or share that funny thought you got then go for it.

I just text as little as possible because in my experience it's easier to fuck things up the more you text. It's like a lottery, the odds go up of fucking it up the more you text, so play to the odds.

I have gone through the same thing you have gone through. All I have to say is, If she texts you or snap chats, text her back, not immediately but text her. U set up a date nice. When the date comes make sure to get sexual arousal going between the both of you so you don't have to worry about what to do next time. Get her to a point when u can confidently say "Yup, she's mine", doesn't have to be sex, but just make sure you get to a point where the both of you know that you would F**k each other. That's my 2 cents.

Do you want to text her? Do you think texting her would be okay? If you keep using crutches like the stuff described above, you aren't getting anywhere further. Stopping texting is okay, but so is texting her. She probably won't care. Those are just my experiences, but girls usually don't care about this stuff. They like to live in your world, so create your world as you think would be good, and not just for your self.

The other have gotten you some good advice and I just want to add: The only reason why you want to not reply to her messages is when you are freezing here.

This might be okay if she friendzoned you and you want to stop contact, but not before a date. Keep the text game light, but don't cease completely.
