You don't have to text her much at all. Send her a text confirming the place & time for the next date and leave it at that. The less texting the better. Remain mysterious and leave her wanting more. You'll get tired of each other if you text all day.
By all means feel free to send a few snapchats if you do that sort of thing, but you don't have to remain in contact with her throughout the day. Makes you look like you're needy with no friends.

Thank god cause I hate the idea of texting all day and now I feel no pressure to do it. As for the occasional snap/text would "how was your day?" Be a good intiator?

Transform whatever question you have into an affirmation. Instead of asking her how was her day, tell her something about yours. Like “Ouch... tough day at the office!!” or something related to what you already build rapport on, something you lived together and connected on.

I feel like that opener would just lead to either boring small talk, or much bigger conversation than you're looking to have. The point of the occasional text/snap is to just keep yourself interesting to her. Go for a bike ride and send her a snap, send her a snap of your dog, idk anything small.
