I had a great first date with this girl a couple days ago. Ive texted with her the last two days, not much(3 texts back and forth responding a couple hours after because I have been busy). Her answers are getting short even though she always texts me back. I feel like I haven’t escalated enough over text either. Should I let her closed ended texts sit or respond faster and escalate?

Also its Valentines Day so i feel like I shouldn’t let her sit in the cold
