Hi Seddit, could use some advice on texting here.

HB8, met through friends. Didn't know if she was into me, but being social at a party which included me coming back in an epic game of beer pong after she quit (she asked to be my partner) with her gf, and #-Closing a friend of hers, had her wanting my attention.

Today I casually asked about her FB status (which had to do with an inside joke from last week) to her gf. Gf proceeds to give me her number. I knew it was bait but couldn't resist after 5-6 hours.

I started with banter, we kept it up a bit, I flirted also. I am going to stop talking to her until we party again this weekend.

From the way she's going, it is FUN, but I also can't figure out if she's the kind of girl that wants attention. I mean all women want attention, but where's the fine line? A seddit article said only text to arrange a date or "ping." Did I go wrong here?

How can I possibly improve? Here's the text convo below:

  • Her(again): Is this coyotelime?
  • Me: That depends. You got the goods?
  • Her: I don't even know how to respond to that
  • Me: Leaving people speechless? I get that a lot. I also texted that while running. Win
  • Her: How very talented of you
  • Me: Explain your FB stats(had to do with fruit baskets). joke
  • Her: Hahaha long ass text
  • Me: Inquiring more about her fruit basket, where it's from etc. I worked at Edible Arrangements.
  • Her: I just love my fruits and veggies, also it wasn't an edible arrangement, sadly it was just your typical fruit basket, sad.
  • Me: Aww. Let's sneak into the store nearby and make one ourselves. Pick you up at 1130?
  • Her: Breaking and entering? Sorry, not that much of a badass. Surprising I know
  • Me: That's too bad, because I have two pairs of ninja suits that make you invisible in the dark. One of them may show a bit of skin too ;)
  • Her: It's cool I already have one. Teehee
  • Me: Great! We can be partners in crime for Halloween. I'll be sure to grow a beer belly to show off by then too.
  • Her: Cute, I'm so looking forward to that.
