I have often joked about conditioning a girl in order to seduce her, especially when talking about paying her a compliment, never compliment her on her looks or for anything that she had put no action into place, and conversely reward her with a compliment for an action that she has done, such as while having sex you look great when you..... or you make me feel good when you.... saying that as she is performing or has just performed such action, not before.

Yes, this is thee famous Pavlov's dog experiment:

It works, I can attest to that.

But wait, there's more! TIL that there's something called Variable Rewards that works even better. See this concise explanation by fellow reddit JThoms. In a nutshell he explains If you visit the same restaurant and typically get the same waiter/waitress you can vastly improve the service you get by doing just one thing, varying how you tip. A Variable reward schedule just means that on average you'll get $xx for tip on average. So say one week you give the server $5 as tip and the next week $9 and you repeat this for a few weeks, after a short while you'll have conditioned your server to be wondering how to get the most tip from you -that is their job basically- and if you keep changing how much tip you give you get maximum performance.

For the people in /r/seduction this will explain the nice guy/babd boy puzzle, which is a puzzle only if you have been in the shoes of the Nice Guy (I have). You see the bad boy is unpredictable, today he will give her one rose, tomorrow he will yell at her, the following day he will blow her off, then he would treat her to a nice dinner.... and she'll be all over him, while the predictable nice guy... well, he's nice, and he's in the friend zone.

I am a sucker for trying new things, I will implement some controlled studies (jk), and report. Maybe.

Has anyone heard of, or tried this, in the PUA?
