The core of the Mystery Method is the M3 Model. It describes the 3 stages of Attraction, Comfort, and Seduction. Almost all seduction systems use some variation of this idea. Your remark is interesting:

Precisely. The theory is that every seduction goes through the 3 stages, whether it is intentional or not. If you accidentally happen to stumble through the stages by accident, you "get lucky." If you lead the woman through the stages smoothly, she won't even notice it, she will just say afterwards, "it just happened, everything was just so natural."

I see Mystery Method and "The Game" as a history of the pickup community. There was a lot of innovation when he came out with that stuff, but from the information stemmed a lot of manipulation. There's plenty of stuff to learn from the books you're reading, but be aware of your intent.

Some of the stuff works. But just remember what he is not telling you... He closes less than 5%. Talking with girls, just with normal social skills, and you close better than Mystery.

And I have a problem with Negs. Does it show that you have high value, that you need to put down the girl, Or does it show that you know she has more value than you.?

Take a walk through a mall and talk with girls, and then make a field rapport about it, and you will get help.

MM is actually very solid shit, albeit a little overly complicated. It got panned a lot both for this complexity and for its reliance on routines.

I don't think routines are a bad thing so long as they are home-grown. Mystery used his own, and people cannot expect the same success if they are just using Mystery's routines and not taking the time to develop what works for them.

Negs get far overused and often fall victim to poor calibration. If you're even remotely new at this, I would focus on the idea of teasing girls, not on negging them per-se. Just don't give straight answers, playfully give them shit, etc. Don't make some negative comment about their appearance in the first 5 minutes and expect them to be all over you.

Additionally, MM is specifically calibrated to like Los Angeles "10s", which is what Mystery was after. If you use this hyper-aggressive material on a nice friendly 7 in Indianapolis or something, you're going to have a bad time.

If your going to use the canned lines dont use them on girls you already know. I use those if I cant think of anything to say to that pretty girl I just saw, not on the girl ive had classes with for four years. But otherwise in my experience it does work but not that well because their reactions can be different that what you have planned for. Which can cause you to have to take a minute to rethink what yout going to say meanwhile shes losing Interest. This is one of the reasons the community prefers 'natural game'.
