For high school, you need to have social status to get attention from girls.

You get social status from knowing a lot of people and being in a lot of groups or clubs. And when you are in those groups, I would recommend trying to be funny or, at least, the fun guy.

I wouldn't recommend trying to be funny in class because it can really piss off your teachers. It's rare that a kid can be funny in class and still be liked by his teachers. If you know a kid like that, then maybe use him as a model.

Then, you use your social status get to know the girls and start tying to progress a relationship from there.

Avoid anything about "PUA." Most of it is marketing hype. You're on the right track by working out and taking classes to better yourself. Make sure your clothes and grooming are in order. Then, start chatting people up. Simple stuff; after class, lock eye contact with someone and talk about something that happened in class. Right away you'll see which people you "click" with. And don't be frustrated if it takes a while or it doesn't happen right away; your world won't fall apart if you don't have a girl on your pole every day of the week.
