It's entirely possible that he just lucked out. I've seen weirder shit happen. And "10" is relative; everyone's idea of attractive is different. So it's entirely possible that she could've been absolutely gorgeous to this kid and his friends, but kinda mediocre to others. And I will say, if a girl is genuinely interested in you, she'll make it fucking easy. She'll laugh at all your lame jokes, look interested at your boring stories, and hang on your every word. Literally all you have to do is not fuck it up. But of course, in typical guy fashion, most of us attribute her making it easy with us being uncannily awesome (when in reality, it's probably just you being normal, and her being atypically interested).
At any rate, it doesn't really matter. Never let the truth get in the way of a good story.

Do you look like Marlon Brando in his prime? Was she ovulating? Did this happen in a parallel universe where betas get to fuck HB10s? All those three things would have to be true in order for this story to have some credibility.
But we're all here to learn and bs stories like this one are not doing us any favors. Do you realize some clueless man might read this bs and go out and do everything wrong and then wonder where he went wrong? "Clearly game doesn't work!" he might think. All because we gave a fake story over 400 karma points just because you should "Never let the truth get in the way of a good story." And about this chick being probably a 7 or an 8, totally agree, but this shit still wouldn't work. In my experience the only chicks who make it so easy are a 5 or less.

Realistically, if someone were to go out and try all the stuff detailed in that post, the very worst that would happen is he'd learn that it doesn't work, and he'd be a wiser man for it. He'd really lose nothing by trying it. If he got discouraged and said, "Fuck everything, game doesn't work!" after one failed attempt, he probably wasn't the kind of guy who was going anywhere anyway.
Besides, self karma doesn't add to his total anyway, so it's not like he's getting imaginary internet points for bullshitting.
Remember: one man's 5 is another man's 10. Women are women. The same rules apply across the spectrum, but there are no absolutes. I've had absolutely beautiful women make it incredibly easy for me, and some downright ordinary girls who made me work for it. It's all relative to the individual.

I disagree. I believe in "fake it til you make it" I believe if a schmuck follows proper advice he greatly improves his chances for success and such success will encourage repetition until his personality will eventually adapt to his new found character. I've seen it happen I'm sure you have too. On the other hand, if he follows unwise advice a schmuck will eventually give up because he's a schmuck.
I did not know it didn't add karma to his total but that is not the point anyways. The point was the karma he is getting reflects the naivety of 400 goddamn men who lurk this subreddit.
Are you sure about the beauty in the eye of the beholder bs? It is true to some degree, but face it, there's just no way a 5 could be a 10 if looked from the right angle. Maybe what you consider a 10 I consider a 9. Maybe what I consider a 7 you consider a 6. There is only so much difference between what different men find attractive, a higher difference is highly improbable.

Nah, man. If you're the kind of person who falls apart as soon as the going gets tough, no amount of faking it is ever going to give you the means to make it. You gotta have some underlying ability to roll with the punches, because the very nature of self-improvement demands that you deal with repeated failures anyway.
Even if you followed the best advice in the world, it'd still mean fuckall if you were the type of person who gave up after a single failure.
And yeah, beauty's definitely in the eye of the beholder. I mean, if it wasn't, mannish-looking girls like Ferrah Fawcett or Jessica Simpson wouldn't have been sex symbols in their heyday, and Daphne Rosen or Tavalia Griffin wouldn't be porn stars. There's a ton of leeway with looks.

He wouldn't, because even though he might not F-close or even K-close at first I am very sure he would still get farther than ever before and that itself is a victory, one that a schmuck will greatly appreciate. Failure at closing is to be expected at first; anyone who's teaching you to pick up women will tell you this firsthand. But if he follows unwise advice he will not make any improvements whatsoever. In a real scenario a man who tries to open by telling the girl she's very beautiful, unless having a physically clear higher SMV, would be seen as creepy. That is all the men who believe this story are gonna get, and that is a major let down.
There is only a difference in taste, but not in recognition. You might like them blonde, I prefer brunettes. To me it makes a HUGE difference in my libido, but I still know a 10 when I see one, even if she's blonde. I'd also like to point out that while I would not fuck the huge tittie chick you mentioned, I would not qualify her as a 3 or less, I would call her a 6 some men like. I don't like it, I know she's around 7-8 to this men and a 5-6 to me (because I dislike evident plastic surgery) but I still wouldn't call her a 1 just because I wouldn't try to fuck her.
This is a good question to ask yourself to determine the true SMV of a woman: would I fuck her if she spread and beg for it? And if so, how much begging would it take? If you have standards that question helps a lot. I don't fuck anything under 6 so if the answer is NO I know the bitch is ugly. Also many men will say their s.o is the most beautiful to them but that take like what it is: a guy who couldn't do better so now rationalizes his decision in his favor. Nobody likes to admit the best they can do is a 7.

Like I said: it's an experience. You learn a lot more from failure than you ever do from success. You never forget the first time you make an ass of yourself and come off as creepy, and from that point on you know to never do it again. And that's probably what would happen if Joe Average read that kid's post and decided to put it into practice: he'd learn that it was a shitty idea, and he'd have a deeper understanding about life as a result. Unless he was one of those aforementioned schmucks who give up after a single failure, in which case it wouldn't matter because he was going nowhere anyway.

I don't know about that man I met this kid at work who's a good person but just creepy I guess it's his nature it's kinda fucked up if you ask me. So I brought him into my little group since it turns out we're from the same city in a country in the opposite side of the globe and there's not many of us here in LA so we stick together you know. We have been making him come out of his shell and I've seen clear improvements since day 1 but maybe our little guy would've been completely let down if at his first attempt at approaching a girl would've called him a creep. Which didn't happen. Because experienced men helped. He can now get any date he wants (in his league ofc) but still can't get him to close. If you asked me what I thought of him when I first met him I'd say total schmuck. That's changed.

Clearly that kid wasn't so averse to failing that he gave up after a single try, so even though he sucked initially, he at least kept trying. So even if someone like him were to take bad advice and fuck up, he'd at least keep at it and try something different. Like I said: you gotta have some underlying tolerance for failure in order to even do stuff like this.
And I'm 35, and a bit of a looker, if I do say so myself. I've run the gamut of women from homely girls to fashion models, because every one of them brings something valuable to the table -- in their own way. My taste in women varies with my mood, so you're correct: I'd probably seek out the typical hot ones again eventually. But I know that I'd also eventually go back again.
Limiting your selection is a young man's game, and one typically done when you're not comfortable enough with yourself to be seen with someone who isn't conventionally attractive. Young men are afraid of judgment from their peers -- of being seen with a hose beast and having their friends make fun of his choice. They're afraid of being labeled a loser for hooking up with anyone less than an 8. Give it a few years and that insecurity eventually goes away.

The same could really be said of the guy whose idea of a 10 is something else entirely to other people. So in order to make himself feel better, he resorts to trying to undercut other peoples' taste by saying things like, "Yeah, you obviously can't do better than a 7."
I mean, really, we could play this speculative psychology game all day. But what it really comes down to is subjective opinion.
