Warning: this post is a wall of text, mostly rambling, but the tldr is: thank you seddit, you're awesome!

Been lurking seddit for a couple weeks and decided it's time to be apart of this awesome community. I've mostly just been reading everything and anything I can find on here and various reference material. I watched TylerDurdens The Blueprint Decoded which had some excellent content.

I guess I have the typical story. I went through a shy phase in my mid teens but pretty much grew out of it when I started college. I've never had a lot of trouble finding a girlfriend, but have only had one, one-night stand in my life. Closing has always been a bit problem for me. I've always felt I could be more and do more and would often run over missed opportunities and replay situations in my head, wishing I had done or said something else. I won't bore you guys anymore with the details, but I've always known I could be more. It's in me to be an awesome person and seddit has helped me realize that a lot lately.

I have a pretty awesome girlfriend at the moment, so I'm not using this stuff to go out and pick up women right now. I am however using it to be a more confident person in my work and social life and I'm noticing big changes already.

I'm learning how to use much more eye contact. I always knew it was a sign of alpha/confidence, but didn't realize to what extent! Just before writing this post I was at the store. As I was turning into an aisle, I noticed a cute employee walking by and made strong eye contact with her for about 5 seconds and flashed her a smile. She beamed and gave me a big "Hi!" and it just made me feel awesome. I didn't realize such a simple tool could be so powerful. Still on a high when I was checking out, the cashier must have felt it off me and was smiling and making strong eye contact with me before I even said anything. We had a little small-talk, maintaining strong eye contact and lots of grins while she helped me pack my bags. As I was leaving she gave me a huge smile and a wink as she handed me my last bag. I was on such a high on the way out that I high-fived a random girl walking into the store, she looked kinda confused but just started laughing haha.

So that's just a small example of the many amazing experiences I've been having lately as a result of stumbling across seddit and applying a bunch of stuff I have learned on here. It really is improving my life and I feel like I'm growing into the person I want to become.
