Rob/Robbie/Robert/Bobby/Bubba here, and I feel your pain. Just last night I had to introduce myself to a group of people. I introduced myself as Robert, but a few minutes later my friend referred to me as Robbie. I felt like everyone was staring and wondering what my real name is. Maybe I'm just crazy.

If you're feeling high-society, you can introduce yourself as "Friedrick" (FREE-drick). I think it sounds sophisticated. Maybe that's just me. :)
