I'll keep it brief. Met a girl at a party and it was obvious she was interested. After a few weeks we went out for drinks and had a badass date though I fucked up towards the end. The date was in my frame: fun and effortless conversation, she was continuously working to validate herself, and little pauses of prolonged eye contact were enough to have her laughing and blushing, building tension.
We eventually ended up at my place but I got careless and fucked up (below). Still worth plating though so I messaged her today after a few weeks. Left me on seen. I was going to end it there but I'm interested to see if a simple move can get her in my frame. She prides herself on being candid and "not fake" so I thought of messaging "alright its cool but why not be straightforward instead of ghosting?"
It can come off as needy and not getting the hint but on the other hand I've had success calling women out on their bullshit. People don't like being called out on their inconsistent behavior but in some cases they respect you more for it. Any experience/success with something like this?
Mistakes
- Took to long to make a move so when I did kiss her it came off as awkward. I was trying to build up tension first but in this case I would've been better off being upfront. I normally don't ask for permission to kiss because with a strong build up it happens effortlessly but a simple "can I kiss you?" would've worked here.
- Even then she was still interested and hinted at wanting to see me again on our way back to her car she left at the bar.
- The nail in the coffin was me shifting the frame in her favor. When we got to her car I kissed her more, asked her in advance if she was free to chill again, then texted her later to see if she got home (no response). I've had success being direct but in this case I dissolved the mystery and made it too easy. Failed to get the hamster running.
