I love Tinder. It's been great for me. Have dated a few women, made platonic some friends I still hang out with and have hooked up with more women than most would believe. So definitely keep using it.
Regarding your question, I would put that in your profile. Something like, "Let's meet up for a drink and see what happens." That statement sums up the idea of wanting to meet up but not having an agenda or specific expectation. That way if she isn't right you can leave after 30 and if you're interested you can keep the date going....

Thanks for the replies! Yes, I'm just trying to branch out from my norm of the last 8 years and do something new. Online dating seems to be a way to potentially meet women. Like I said my goal is just the meet, and secondary to gain confidence and learn.

I never mastered tinder so can't comment. Had decent success on other dating platforms but keep in mind that usually they are geared towards women.
If you can just eat dinner or have a beer at a bar and comfortably get a woman's number, or don't have much of a problem asking a girl at college for hers I'd stick with that.
Only responses I've gotten on tinder have been from working girls looking for money.

On Tinder, you can either post a normal bio without trying to hard or put only a joke.
Cocky bios or pretending that you are super selective etc. give you less matches. Girls will still match you, but they will match you despite your bio, not because of.
