Hi,

I've been following this sub for about a month (this is my first post ). To start off, I want to say thanks for all the posts and replies. There is a lot to be learned and there are many many supportive people.

I recently moved to a new city where I have a few friends. Since moving I've gotten into the gym, gotten into much better shape, though still a little bit further to go. Historically I haven't dated much, but since I'm starting to make other changes in my life, in addition to the gym, I thought I'd give online dating a shot.

Tinder is popular atm, so I am thinking of setting up a profile. I watched an RSD about Approach, and the speaker was saying that the Approach is the goal, not hooking up. He said if your goal is to hook up all the time, you'd be in for a lot of obliteration nights. But if the goal is simply the Approach, then your nights can be measured as 'successful' . With that in mind my goal is to just meet women for a drink or coffee and see where it goes. I was thinking of maybe setting a 30min time limit and if it's not going well, part with a 'nice to have met you. Yadda yadda yadda'.

So would you put that in the profile? Or just be upfront when you first meet? Would that take some of the tension out knowing that after 30min either of you can call it and walk away amicably?

Of course if things are going well the time limit goes out the window.

Thoughts, tips or advise please.

Thank you for reading.
