Tips for "flying solo"

Does anyone have any pointers or advice?

First of all, find a place you really enjoy, so you don't end up in a situation where lack of progress bums you out and you're in a place you think is shit to boot. This is just my personal opinion, but for me it's been vital to my game to have something other than success with girls, or lack thereof, to fall back on when I hit a dry spell.

Second, learn to have fun on your own. Tell yourself jokes, make up crazy shit in your head, play games with yourself, dance like an idiot, sing from the top of your lungs or whatever. Most people are looking for someone else to entertain them, so if you bring your own fun you're gonna stand out.

Third, look like you're having fun. You don't have to be off-the-walls crazy, but no one's gonna want to talk to someone who just sits in a corner and stares at his beer the whole night.

Fourth - I've been going out solo for the last ten years, and nobody's given a shit yet. If someone ask if I'm out alone I usually say "Yeah, tonight I am" and that's usually that. People are generally way too busy worrying about being judged them selves to give a flying bag of dicks about some dude they don't know. Sure, I've met a couple of jokers who pointed out that I looked lonely, but on average they have been coming along at a rate of 0.2 per year so I'm pretty sure you can see where I'm going with this.

The best part of going out by yourself is that you can TRULY be yourself, exactly how you want to be.

Here are a few tips from personal experience:

Bars/Clubs: Go EARLY. Be one of the first people there, if not the first. Talk to the bartender. If you have the courage, talk to the few people who are there, especially if they are guys. Make them your wingmen or your "group" for the night. As more people come in, introduce yourself. Go back to your group and tell them how it went, if there were any cuties, etc. My "group" one time was a single old 60-year-old guy, and he had a blast with me coming back to him every few minutes telling him my war stories of picking up on girls. If all of this sounds overwhelming to do at the start, just fucking go to a bar alone, use the bathroom, and leave. Next time, maybe get one drink, stay for 20 minutes, then leave. Build up to making yourself comfortable in this environment. Just make it part of your routine to grab a drink, by yourself, maybe at a NEW bar, every single day of the week, M-F. Your confidence will begin to emerge show eventually after the 2nd day. If you're worried about what people think, just fucking lie to them. "Oh, I'm waiting on my friends, who are always fucking late." That's what I did. Eventually, I worked up the courage to be honest: "None of my friends wanted to come out, but I did, so here I am, by myself! I don't need them to have fun. I can make new friends, like with cool people who go out such as yourself." Once you get confidence with doing this, you will realize the power of sarging anonymously, going to bars really far away where you won't run into anyone you know and testing your pickup on girls, seeing what worked, what didn't, etc.

Go to places where it's not out of the ordinary to be by yourself -Farmer's Markets -Grocery Stores -Group Classes at the gym -Intramural sports for young adults -Shopping Malls -Parks

Walking down the street I've had the best luck with meeting people during the day, preferably in the mornings. People who are walking around on the morning just seem happier. Start by saying "Hi!" to everyone. You'll be surprised at how many people will not reciprocate at first. You will also be surprised at how you can improve your body language and voice to make people say hi back. BTW, I met my wife on the street.

Finally go out with this mentality: Everyone is your friend. They just don't know it yet.
