I wrote an in depth guide for getting over the awkwardness of physicality and using it to improve the vibe of the date and turn the girl on more, but for some reason I can’t post it. I’ll give you a basic gist of it, but feel free to PM me for the full guide.
Establish physicality as early as possible in the date. Do your best to give her a hug when you meet, even if this means getting there early and stepping out of the car or hugging her over the center console lol. All awkwardness is laughable, especially with physicality. I had to own my own awkwardness at first and reframe it in a good way, like “oh hahaha were both so awkward and it’s cute”. Then eventually I became less and less awkward with experience. Owning the awkwardness is also hard at first, the first few times it happens you’ll have to fake it a bit, but that’s natural too. Keep in mind sometimes it won’t be awkward at all even as a beginner, and sometimes it will and you just have to roll with it.
After you’ve hugged, definitely start using hand stuff like fist bumps and high fives in conversation, like when she says something cool or does something you like. Depending on your level of social awareness and existing comfort with physicality, you might fee weird about this too at first and have to fake/force it for a bit until it becomes part of your natural personality. I certainly had to fake it at the start sometimes, or remind myself to use physicality in times when I wouldn’t. After a few times doing this on multiple dates, it really did start to become a part of my personality and I now do it almost unconsciously.
If you’ve been doing this and she’s neutral or even does it back a bit, you can advance to more romantic touches during specific moments, like if you’re walking and come to a seat you can put your arm around her. This should be much easier if you’ve already established physicality and should be done very casually. Watch her reaction to it. If she comes closer or starts touching you, that’s a HUGE good sign. If she’s neutral it’s not bad either, maybe pull back a bit. If she tenses up or starts squirming awkwardly, keep talking through it but immediately make some distance between you and take the pressure off. This is rare but if it does happen it isn’t a huge deal, it could be the girl being awkward or you misreading her or both.
Quick hack to make physicality feel more natural:
A trick you should use is to KEEP TALKING through the physicality. For example, when you hug her at the start, don’t go silent. Keep talking casually, tell her something funny, or comment about her outfit, appearance, or something in the area. This takes a lot of the pressure off both of you and makes it feel a lot more natural. Do this as much as you can with every physicality and it will take off a lot of the pressure.
Good luck bro.

Depends. A lot of girls are definitely hornier or at least seem that way. I’ve made a lot of my progress in this area over quarantine as there’s not much else to do. The only downside is it could be harder to meet new girls due to less parties and large events. But definitely still a lot of people around and online dating is probably easier than ever

If you felt like you wanted to touch her it probably was your gut instinct telling you to do so. Next time you get that same feeling - go for it and see how she reacts. Start small light touch on arm/shoulder. More intimate are the legs (above knees) - I usually rest my arm on one of her legs pre-sex if we are sitting next to each other / if she doesn't move your arm theeen things will happen, if not try again later - good luck :)

Get Comfortable With These 3 Things:
Sitting close to her:
I hardly ever sit on the opposing side when out with a girl, I 99% of the time sit right next to her.
Doing this alone automatically make the vibe mire flirty and primes you both for the kiss.
Get comfortable resting your leg against hers or putting your hand on her leg.
If she lets you start slowly massaging her leg and congratulate yourself.
You have now become her drug dealer.
(Touch releases the feel-good chemical oxytocin in your brain 🧠)
Your goal when you're first starting out is to make-out with her.
Once you break the kiss barrier, things get easier.
(Probably because there's a bunch of oxytocin swirling around in your brain.)
Just because kissing her is a goal, don't be needy for it.
Pull away FIRST.
The best is when you're sitting close (like on a couch or wherever) while she is talking.
Go in for it WHILE saying "I'm sorry you're distracting me, i have to kiss you."
Make-out with you for a few seconds. Pull away first. Then say "Ok now I can focus, what were you saying?"
Questions?
Good.
Class dismissed.
Hahah this is a good one

try to hug her when as a way of greeting her. if both of you are laughing at something, touch her on the shoulder. if she gets touchy as well, then you can try to take it a step further. arm across the shoulder, elbows interlocked, you get the point. if she doesnt respond well to light touches, DO NOT try to escalate it.

Open it up with a hug, then do the light touching like everyone in this thread has said. But make sure you set the mood with a hug to open up, and if she rejects it (I can promise you she won't but in the 1/100000 case she does), just go for a handshake but turn her hand the same way you would if you were to kiss it (don't do that simp shit though just hold it for slightly longer than a normal handshake). Good luck fam

Your tip is to casually physically abuse women? Really?
It’s not physical abuse necessarily. I get where you’re coming from, as someone who has an average level of social awareness could interpret this wrong and do something weird, like randomly choking bitches in public. But if the vibe is right doing this jokingly is totally fine, it’s just rare to actually see this happen because most contexts don’t really lead to something like that. OP pls read this, trying to add a constructiveness to that criticism (which I agree with in most situations btw)

Let’s be honest choking can be playful and some girls like being choked sexually.
I’m not saying I would ever put my hands on a girls neck on the first date but it’s clear the poster didn’t mean in an abusive way.
I’ve had girls tease me and I put my hands on their neck playfully

Sure. In an intimate setting with someone you're comfortable with. Not when trying to establish flirting while going for a walk in the park.

Like I said I wouldn’t do it that soon either.
