So from what I am understanding, it is very key to time "Kino" with verbal phrases. Like just going up and touching a girl would just be weird. So one situation I run into as a tall guy (or I imagine very short guys could have this issue too, either or) is this:
I am in a bar/club. The music is blaring. The lighting might be too dim or there is some strobe effect keeping her from being able to even be able to effectively read my lips. If I go up and try and do any sort of kino on her, but she can't hear what I am saying, it will probably be weird, right? This problem is particularly annoying for me because in addition to all the above things going on, I am also significantly taller than most females. Like a girl who is 5'9" is considered to be extremely tall and several standard deviations above average height (like model worthy) and even if she is wearing heels, that puts her at like 6'1" tops...so typically that is BEST case for me, I am only a half foot above her height...So in addition to the music and the noise, I have to deal with the acoustics of my mouth not being at the same height of her ears.
Any tips for overcoming this issue? As soon as a girl is having trouble hearing me and I have to start yelling and stuff the conversation always seems to turn to the worst. In fact in one case a girl dramatically misheard me (I said "You have extremely sexy eyes and she literally thought I said "You have extreme sex with guys" and she got disgusted and walked away. I later asked one of her friends what her problem was and she told me I was despicable for going around saying insert my misheard quote to girls). This has been another big issue keeping me from wanting to talk to girls at bars.
I have been lovin this subreddit and the helpfulness of its users. You guys all have actually useful advice that is like a kajillion times better than the bullshit you find on a lot of websites. Hopefully you come through again on this post!
tl;dr I have issues getting over noise at bars as a tall guy. I have tried yelling (gets awkward), leaning (girls find bad posture as indicative of poor confidence), etc. Anyone got some effective techniques I can implement?
