There's no real ratio, conversations flow naturally. But if you're asking more questions than giving your own input most of the time then it's probably best that you start working on your communication skills.

Understand the concept of multi-threading, open questions, assumptions and other related techniques. Be comfortable with laying out your opinions or just ramble about your experiences, if you feel like you're not interesting enough to talk about yourself or other subjects, cultivate that by learning about new topics, reading books and articles, experience new things, travel to places you've never been to and so on.

I would say ask a few questions, talk about what you are doing (make it seem awesome remember you are selling yourself), give open ended statements. Most guys forget that their statements or messages in general need to be respond-able.
