So for the past few months, I have been extremely outgoing. I consider myself a pretty good looking guy who has always been super shy and have always been a 'relationship guy'. Basically, I'm 26 and have been in 2 separate ~4 yr. relationships, so I'm new to the whole seduction game. Recently, something clicked and I just started being outgoing and approaching people. Not just with girls at bars/clubs, but talking to ANYONE in any situation. In the elevator, in a line at the bank, in the store, at the office, on the street, etc.

With girls, I have had no problem approaching and having conversations. I have gotten multiple numbers and have pursued some and ditched others.

Whenever I get a number, I usually text a girl that night and say something. I don't have a go to, it's usually specific to that girl/situation. But then, for some reason, when I try to make the second contact, I don't get anywhere.

I have had some interest from girls, but its either been a dead end or I've lost interest in them. But for some reason, with most girls that I have been interested in, it hasn't seemed to go anywhere. I have called/texted and either gotten no response or haven't gotten anywhere and the conversations fizzle out.

I'm not discouraged. I keep going out there. The thing is that I don't have any expectations. I'm not the type of guy that goes out there and expects to bang every girl I meet. In fact, I'd much rather meet cool people and have fun. I'd rather meet cool people than just go out there and try to bang a bunch of girls. I feel like this helps me in my conversations and my meeting new people, but it hurts me when I'm actually kind of interested in a girl.

I think I need help in getting to the next level. I need to get from first meeting to second meetup. Not necessarily a date, but a meetup of some sort.

tl;dr - have no trouble approaching girls, having a conversation and getting a number - just can't seem to get any further (meetup or date).

How does seddit go from getting a number to first meetup? Do you text/call? What do you say/do? How long do you wait?

EDIT - So I thought it might be helpful to give 2 recent examples of interactions I've had and get some feedback on how to possibly proceed from here:

Example 1

This one girl I met this weekend, I went up to her because my friend stole a piece of pizza from their tray (it's this bar that also serves pizza) and they got pissed and her friend threw a pizza pan at him hahaha. And my friend has been pissing me off lately and is like that. So I went up to her and was telling her that they were my heroes and I loved them for that, even though he was my friend. So I ended up talking to this girl for like a half an hour and then got her number at the end of the night. I texted her when she gave it to me when she gave me her number. I said something like "Hey, this is ____. Can you do me a favor and have your friend throw something else at my friend". So this was Saturday, and I haven't said anything to her since. But it seemed like she was pretty into me. I also talked to her about rugby and just a bunch of random stuff. But I have no idea where to go from here. Do I ask her if she wants to meet up and grab a drink on Tuesday? Do I say my roommate's band has a show Friday, you should come down? Or do I just say something random and see if I get a response and then ask her out?

Example 2

Also, I met this really hot European chick Thursday. We were at the bar and a friend of mine saw her eyeing me. So I went up to her and I just told my friend to play along and that I was going to tell her and her friends that he thought my shirt was gay and I needed a woman's prospective. So I went up to her and her friends and said something like "hey, sorry to interrupt, but you guys are really pretty and I need a pretty girls' prospective. my friend thinks my shirt is gay and that no girl would like it, blah blah blah" and they were like "awww, no your shirt is really cute we were just saying that" and then they proceeded to make fun of my friend and what he was wearing. Well then right away the hot one starts talking to me and we sit down and talk for like 10 - 15 minutes about random stuff, where she's from, etc. And then I see her phone and she has this crazy screen saver so I make a comment about it and I was like I want it on my phone or whatever. So she's like, here I'll send it to you and she asked for my number and so she sent it to me. And later on in the night I said something like hey, just wanted to let you know I'm gonna steal your screen saver weather you like it or not ;) and she texted back like hahaha go ahead! or something like that. But again, I haven't talked to her since. How would you suggest I proceed?
