Don't lie. If you want to date multiple people, do it, but the best way to keep it from being a shit-show is to screen for compatibility on that particular issue.

Dont listen to this other guy. I currently have 3 active girls in my 'harem', and 2 girls who come and go (one is a flight attendant).

The key is to never lie to them, ever. Don't bring up relationships, but if they bring it up, say you want something casual. You arnt looking fir the commitment of a full on relationship, but you enjoy the friendship you two have.

When one girl brought it up, I mentioned that I had been in the club the night before, and after dancing with some girl, she tried to kiss me. I said I was thinking about whether that was okay or not, and that I realized it was. I want someone I can share time with, adventures with, but don't want to hold myself back.

I always mention that if that doesn't work for her, I understand and can respect that. But a monogamous relationship isn't what I'm going for.

Please note! Some girls won't be okay with this, some will. You may lose one or two, but you'll gain freedom.
