So this summer, after a break-up, I decided to just work on myself and go out and have fun on the weekends. I also went to the gym 5 times a week, so slowly but surely my confidence started to grow, I felt more comfortable with talking to people, being in center of attention and being sure of myself.
At the end of the summer I went to a festival, and a roman themed carnival had a lot of fun, talked to a lot of girls, and felt amazing. From this point on, is where the downward spiral began. At the end of august university began with freshman parties for a whole week, then seniors came back so everyone drinks for another 2-3 weeks.
At the end of these weeks I'm feeling worse and worse, no gym, less talking to people and I'm just feeling more resentful and annoyed towards everyone.
I kinda feel like I'm back to where I began, and all my progress is lost. Though I know it's not so much the case, but still I really feel sad about having to start over and just trying to build myself back. So back to training then having some time for myself, then back to talking to people.
tl,dr: Built my confidence up in the summer, then university and weeks of heavy drinking started, now feeling shitty and resentful with low confidence as well. Feeling like I have to start it all over, so my advice is: Don't drink so much kids, it can ruin a lot of progress.
