So me and this girl were texting all day yesterday. We were actually talking about interesting stuff, not just random bullshit. (this goes against theory I know, probably dumb on my part).

Texting about real stuff is fine.

I don't know where you got this BS idea that connecting in any way works against you.

However, the fact that you were texting with her "all day" does seem a bit problematic. You should honestly have things to do in your day. It can come off desperate if you're dropping everything to text all day.

And here, you're overthinking. Conversations ebb and flow.

But the overall issue here is that you're trying to replace real life interactions with text. It doesn't work and trying to, comes off desperate or needy.

Next time, make it a point to establish a couple times a day to check messages. And put your phone in Airplane Mode the rest of the time and get on with your real day.

Like all that shit in front of you that needs and wants your attention right now.

How did you even meet this girl? You're leaving too much context out.

In any case, your proposal to meet up was too wishy washy. Couple suggestions:

Next time, make it more personal.

Pay better attention to the conversation and tailor the suggestion to meet up while making use of what you know of her.
Make reference to stuff in the conversation when you ask to meet up. Like a joke or comment about what you've previously talked about.
Make the meet up somehow related to her interests, it possible.
Another way could be to just plan going out to do something you really like. Like you pick an exact time and place ahead of time. And then you invite her to join you. If she says yes, obviously good. If she says no, but offers alternative times or alternative activities, you still have something to work with.

Next time, don't suggest it as you did. "Do you want to get together next week?" is:

Too vague.
Comes off low confidence or uncertain.
Not really offering or saying anything.

Class A attention seeker. You def made the mistake here of overtexting. At least she didnt say no but still. My advice is to not text her again for a little bit (unless she texts first) and than reinitiate. When you do text her again, invite her to something fun youre gonna do regardless if she tags along.

This is my rule of thumb. A girl who is into a guy doesn't take 2 seconds to think about it. If it seems like a "maybe", then wash your hands of her. A girl who isn't still on the fence isn't going to waste time. I can't believe how many guys fall for this game playing. If it's taking text after text after text to get somewhere, get a fucking hint. As a last attempt, since you know you're not going to get her anyway, why not turn it into a joke? Why keep pressing in the direction that is not working? Why not have fun with it? Turn it around 180 degrees. Don't reply with serious answers. Start trolling her. Say shit like "my boobs feel icky". Hell, it might even actually change her mind about you. Don't be the donkey chasing the carrot. Take the carrot and make her the donkey.
