I think that I finally figured out my sticking point regarding girls and people in general, and it has to do with the fact that I do not feel entitled enough. My brain constantly goes back to questioning whether what I will say is good enough, and feels good when I get good responses and crappy when I don't. I know that I must move beyond this, and I've seen people speak extensively on the subject, but I am confused as to what is the best method to do so. Have you guys faced this problem, and if so, how have you dealt with it?

To clarify, I've had some success, I've been socializing as much as I can, I've taken action, approached people, got rejected and got "the look", but I feel that this thing is holding me back. It's got me constantly worrying that I won't live up to the standards of others, and this freezes me from being spontaneous and from being me.
