Based on my picture, I'm not that attractive. Yet, in day to day life, I get women's/girl's attention on a regular basis. Not only that, but I'm confident enough to carry on conversations with them, make them laugh, and generally get them to remember me and look forward to chatting with me on a regular basis. No bragging, that's just how it is. I'm approaching 40, married with two kids (who definitely help me grab attention inadvertently). I never got this much attention when I was younger.

So my question to you all is, what is attractiveness to you?

I definitely am first drawn to the way a woman looks, but once I start chatting with them it becomes more about personality than looks. She can be the sexiest woman in the world, but if she isn't nice then I don't care to chat with her anymore. So even though I may not be the most attractive man around, perhaps my personality and outgoing personality is what attracts these women to me. I am a fairly funny and outgoing guy.

It's just something I thought I'd ask. Maybe I didn't explain it well enough, let me know. I've had a couple drinks with the father-in-law this evening and thought I'd ask.

Edit: I say Girl as in any woman younger than me. I'm not a pedophile or anything. My wife is two days younger and i call her a girl rather than woman. It really grinds her gears.
