I've been having this one issue, that for the life of me, I do not know the correct course of action.

FYI, I'm a huge follower of Corey Wayne. Love this guy. For the most part, everything from his book works 95% of the time.

I'm really not trying to toot my own horn here, but it's necessary so you get an understanding of the situation I get into.

This has been happening A LOT after first dates. I'm really good on dates. Like, really good. I let her do 80-85% of the talking, I'm never serious, I'm hilarious as fuck and keep the conversation light and fun. I get it all during a date. Her playing with her hair, touching me, sometimes grabbing my leg. All the signs point to go. I end the date on a high note, walk her to her car or subway station or whatever, I always go for the kiss and say I had a good time an then bounce.

NORMALLY, I would wait a few days to call her for a second date. LATELY, whats been happening is an hour or two or whatever will go by and then she's texting me to say 'hey, i had a really great time with you tonight' (or something similar)

This totally blows my game off.

So far, with different women, I have done:

  1. Respond in a timely manner, tell her I had a wicked time too, then wait a few days (3 or 4 or whatever - i'm pretty busy) call her to ask her out - but that results in a ghost
  2. Take the hint that she reached out to me because she wants me to take her out again. Which is what I do. I'll just say 'hey, great to hear from you, you seem like an awesome chick. I definitely want to see you again, when are you free to get together' deal. That shit results in a ghost too

I'm left scratching my head thinking to myself 'what the hell. She had her tongue lodged down my throat, she was totally into me. I'm pretty sure I did everything right'

Keep in mind, I never, ever follow up. I know she got my message or voicemail and I leave that shit in her court. As Corey says, there is a bus every 15 minutes.

I feel like it has something to do with that fucking after the date text and how i'm handling it. I really want to nip this in the bud. It's annoying af.
