Conversation does not match the high energy environment of a club. Instead keep it to playful banter and small talk if that. You need to come in HIGH energy. Usually one notch above the environment. Be the FUN guy that is talking to EVERYBODY and generating positive emotions around anyone he comes in contact with. Basically first work on creating a small social circle in the club (to gain social proof) THEN once you've established a bit of social proof, you can then proceed to open the set/ girl of your choosing. They will be more open and receptive to you since you come off as higher value without even talking talking to them first.

and trust me, girls see this. Social proof and fun/ high energy is the way

When someone actually pays attention to what is said and follows up with thought as to what was just said. Like digging deeper into the motivations and emotions about what they said.

Rather than responding about themselves or how they relate to what was said.

How do you get people to always wanna come talk to you.... in class because of how great the last time you conversed with them..

Trying to get others to come to you, is a bit of a losing game. People will come to you if you're handling it well, but part of that includes you coming to them comfortably.

And if you handle it well, they'll welcome you opening another interaction, of course.

A distinction needs to be made here: Clubs are ruled by non-verbal interactions, not talking. They're organized around loud music and dancing.

So you're barking up the wrong tree asking about what makes a good conversationalist in a club.

You want to talk about club interactions, that's a totally different thread, but suffice to say, if you go to a club trying to focus on good verbal conversations, you're going to have a bad time.

Practice is crucial. You'll never go from zero to great at it without a bunch of risks and practice in between.
As a dude, being funny, selfless, and asking them about their lives is a good start.
Read The Game by Neil Strauss.
Don't mention their looks - try to connect on a real level as much as possible.
