Waiting will only make it more difficult to ask her out and why on earth would you wait till the end of the semester? At that point, she may be focused on whatever she is going to do for the holidays. Just ask her out. Yes, it will be awkward but you know what else is awkward? Not talking to people! Go get it done.

I agree don’t wait till the last day, you will most likely bitch out and then come up with excuses why you did and be kicking yourself for a week or 2 (I used to do the same thing). Just ask her but I would recommend flirting with her a little before you ask otherwise your relying solely on your looks. Your best bet would be to flirt with her a little and then ask her out almost pretend you did a cold approach at a bar or bookstore. If you just go up and ask her out she really doesn’t know anything about you or if your even fun or funny so your relying 100% on your looks. I agree with the other two guys on here, you gotta just man up and ask her but I would highly recommend flirting with her for 3-5 min before you do. (Just tryna increase your odds of a yes) remember busy means no maybe means no 95% of the time only yes means yes. When you ask her on a date phrase it like when are you free to get together for (whatever you wanna do with her) that way she picks a day and you pick the time and place. You ask her that way cuz if you say are you free we’d? No third? No how about sat maybe I think I’m free sat, even if she was interested you just conveyed that you’ll give her any free time you have just to hang out with her and that you don’t have an active social life (recipe for her feeling like she’ll lose her freedom if she date you.)

Have you been talking to her regularly? If not you have to do that first. Just asking her out cold is fail. Just flirt and make hot eye contact first, to make your intentions clear and gauge her interest. If she seems into it, mention the various cool shit you're doing and invite her to something she expresses interest in.

Focus on your class. Don't let this girl distract you from your work. Focus on your main objective--Taking good notes and passing the class.

Before class starts and after class is over is when can socialize with her:

Before class:

You: "Good morning, [HER NAME]. What's you're next class?"

Her: "English"

You: "Okay cool, I never get to talk to you. I can walk you to your next class so we can talk and get to know each other a little bit."

Her: "Why?"

You: "There's something about you that I like but I can't quite put my finger on it. Maybe if I talk to you, I'll know why. Anyway, think about it. Class is about to start. See you after class."

If you take a variation of this approach, you may catch her glancing your way periodically through class. You wanna know where your focus should be? On your school work. If the both of you catch each other's eye, look at her, smile, and continue paying attention to the teacher and taking notes.

"How is this gonna help me?"

You're showing her that you're interested, but you're not needy. Even though you're being a good student, this is a "bad boy move".

He lets his intentions be known ("I wanna talk to you and get to know you") and he focuses on himself (taking notes and passing the class), and once he's done, he can go back to talking to the girl.

By doing this you also get to know if she's interested in getting to know you. If she waits for you, she's interested. If she rushes out and leaves, then let her go, but the next day before class, don't treat it like a big deal. Don't get mad at her, just give her some space and allow her to come to you if she's interested.

Something tells me if you take this approach, she may be waiting for you after class so the both of you can walk and talk.
