I've been following this sub for some months now. Yesterday I went to a college party where I knew no one in. A game of beer pong was going on and everybody else was just talking to each other. I wasn't there for long but I had no idea what to do. I tried taking to just one girl but that didn't last.

I felt like I had no idea why I was there. Didn't know anyone; everyone had formed conversation groups. What could I/should I have done? I'm basically a beginner and anything would help
