Touching.

It is non-sexual touching in a non-sexual context, to establish a physical relationship.

Kino is short for Kinesthetic which means touch. Kinesthetic memory, for example, is like when you can't remember your locker combination until you start doing it and then you remember... since you've done it so many times.

Kino escalation (escalating the touch) can begin with a light touch on the shoulder while telling a story or when you say something funny, you just touch someone on the shoulder... Then, if they say they are a runner, you say "flex your leg." and you squeeze their quad... "let me see you flex" squeeze their bicep.. "cool necklace, can I see it?" You touch it pull it toward you.

I use this one I learned in Italy, inside of leg near the knee cap, you squeeze and it hurts like hell... you can do this playfully, Like check out what I learned in italy - then they do it to you for payback.

"Do you know you have no nerves in your elbow" tell them to squeeze the skin at your elbow as hard as they can - it doesn't hurt at all, you can literally squeeze with all your might and it doesn't hurt... then you say, "see watch, I'll do it to you."

It gets them used to your touching them.

Nothing more awkward than going in for a kiss, when you haven't touched them all night. But when they are used to it, no problem.

Escalation is obviously more detailed, but the initial touch is what is important and usually contrived.
