I'd consider myself high value in a few ways; I'm 6'5, muscular, fairly good looking, well educated, intelligent, articulate, respectful and open minded, unique interests and hobbies, play a few instruments, have a good sense of humour, a deep voice, a solid friend circle blah blah . I'd say that easily puts me in the top 25% of guys.

Women certainly don't ignore me, but they're not usually drawn to me in a sexual way as they seem to be with certain other guys. It seems like the interest they show me is more platonic - more as though they're intrigued by me rather than infatuated.

I know guys who are short, out of shape, dumb as all fuck, boring, have high pitched voices, only interested in sport etc and they definitely aren't the apple in every woman's eye, but they seem to have this way of pushing through the platonic barrier and sexually attracting women.

You'll see them having a fairly bland conversation with a girl at a party and then hear the next day that they fucked her (granted some are probably full of shit).

That's never really happened with me. It just feels like I'm missing some magic ingredient.

Creating a man to woman connection and escalating, obviously.

But whenever I try to escalate be it by bringing up more risque topics or physical touch or suggest that we go somewhere more private, I'm usually met with some resistance and things turn more platonic. Granted I'm not the type to start talking to a girl and 5 minutes later I'm stroking her leg under the table or leaning in for a kiss - I tend to take things a little more slowly than that.

Some of these guys I can understand how a woman would find them attractive, but some it's a fucking mystery - more credit to them I guess.

What's missing? Do I just need to be even more direct?
