So this happened twice in the past 2 weeks. The first was at the grocery store check out and the cashier girl said I really like your glasses. I was kind shocked and said "oh uh thanks".

Today at the gas station while buying my gas the cashier said nice glasses. Again I responded with a "thank you"

This isn't the first time this has happened but two in a two week span made me think this means something. I don't think my glasses are particularly special and infact today they are pretty dirty. I just find it weird, maybe it's because I'm shy and nervous sometimes but I would never just randomly compliment a stranger.

Am I over thinking this and it means nothing more than these people apparently liked my glasses? Or is this some strange flitting thing. How should I respond?
