What's the difference between Negging and Push/Pull technique?

Negs are the least understood and most oversold part of classic indirect game.

Imagine yourself at a high end Hollywood bar full of actresses, models, strippers, and chicks that are trying to get into the Playboy Mansion.

These chicks have on full war paint. Makeup, fake nails, hair extensions, fake lashes, expensive purses, high heels, short skirts, fake tans, fake boobs, fake butts, fake lips, plastic surgery and liposuction as needed. In the bizarro world of the night life, some 22 year old with perky tits has more power/value than a doctor or a guy who teaches special ed kids.

You come in with your squad, you're feeling good, cracking jokes. You see a three set of these "perfect chicks"

Before you can even properly form a sentence, one chick starts to roll her eyes.

As if you aren't good enough to talk to her. As if you were a lesser human being. This is an assault.

So you notice that this girl is wearing high heel wedges, when most of the hot chicks are in stilettos. That's a fashion faux pas.

In the most earnest voice possible, you say to her "OMG those look so comfy, everyone else is in high heels, but your feet will be thanking you later!"

To a guy that knows nothing about how much work women put into looking good on a visual level, this sounds like a compliment.

The girl probably thinks that you're complimenting her, but pointing out she's taking a short cut to fashion IS NOT A COMPLIMENT.

Any statement along the lines of, "I notice and love your imperfections" or "You look like my little sister or my mom wears something like that" gets at her self image.

So the girl, if she's sensitive or perceptive will become a little bit self conscious. She may even feel the need to say something, but what exactly?

In terms of pickup, she can't be dismissive of you anymore, because she is no longer above you in her idea of who has social status. (This status bullshit exists in her mind, and I guess with all of the guys from RSD)

Now she might want to get your attention for some reason. Either to reassert her status, or get your validation somehow. But now she's open to hearing your spiel.

Anytime the chick wants to take a shot at you, the neg is a quick dose of reality.

"I see you girl, for what you are, scared little thing wearing a costume."

Now if her self esteem takes a hit, if she feels bad for not living up to this stupid ideal in her head,so be it. She was just trying to deny your existence. A neg is a tool for this situation only.

This sort of turbo hottie that can't smell her own shit, this is the only time you use a high powered neg.

The neg is never an insult. The neg is always a bit of apparent truth about the girl.

Your nose wiggles when you talk. So cute.
Hey babe, you got some lipstick on your teeth.
There is some lint on your shirt.
gorgeous nails, are they real? They're still pretty!

She will probably be mad about you telling her "her truth", but she can't be too mad. After all you were just trying to help or say something nice.

Now if you want to give her a back handed compliment like -

"Wow, that haircut is so brave"

You gotta be able to be ready for whatever she does next. An insult by itself doesn't help you.

Push pull is not insulting or sniper shots at the girl's inflated sense of self.

Push pull is flirting.

"Wait, you like dogs? I love dogs!" (Pull)

"Oh you like those little hairless Mexican dogs?"

"We will never work out, Cancel the wedding!!" (Push)

The push/pull is never serious. If someone was listening, they would assume that it was flirting.

Negging is "Wow. You look great... except for that top."

Push/Pull is We're close now, but I'm going to go stand over there, and when I get over there, I'm gonna call you to me and you're going to come.

I've been seeing all this lingo and all the stuff on this sub but not actually able to get some solid text on it explaining things. Could you guys point me in the right direction?
