I recently was talking to a girl for a solid 10-15 mins and it seemed like we had a lot in common, but when I asked her to go out sometime she was making excuses to not want to go. So now my question is this: when do you know that they are primed enough for you to get a number successfully? I think I made a mistake in asking them out instead of asking for a number.
