If you have to ask, you already know. Don’t shake your life around the timeline of other people. If just ask if she’d be down to do something after exams now and then you can both look forward to it in the future. Otherwise, it would be unusual for you to revolve every decision of when to ask her to do something around her schedule.

Yeah, reason why I didn't suggested a different day is because I don't wanna sound desperate. I also don't wanna bully her into deciding since this is the first time I asked her out with the word "date" on it.

So for the record, if someone has an excuse/cancles you wait for a full month before trying to make something happen again? I haven't been on a lot of dates but that feels like a VERY long time.

in this case he never even met her once. so i would say that he should get more girls. if he met her once and is trying for the day 2 then i would try 1-2 times to schedule it then forget about it if she's still flaking. after a month or something you can hit her back up to get an update but again the point is to not make this a priority. these are back burner girls

We've been out together few times, always one-on-one as I always made it clear that it's only me and her when we go out. It's just that this is the first time that I used the word "date" when I asked her.
