Instagram is hacks, you can respond to their stories which is like a free dm slide, you remember who they are cause I assume you get a lot of numbers and it’s easy to forget, and also when you want people in your dms you just have to upload a captivating story and the girl you’re after will probably respond to it

To answer you though I go next day once the hangover has settled and you can say shit like “how’d you pull up from last night?” “What did you end up eating?” Especially if you continue on from a random convo from the night before you’re fine
