Instead tease her, which is more fun than being a mister caring nice guy, like:
“wow, you went home and somehow made it? Seeing how drunk you were, I thought you would end up in france”
Instead, set a definite specific date plan that gets her excited and make it sound like you are doing it with or without her.
“You better pass those exams, or else i’ll pretend i never met you. Got a reputation to keep you know?”
Basically be more provocative and less dull. There is nothing wrong with being nice but there is definitely something wrong with acting like a dull nice guy, who acts like her caring dad.
