"hey (girl). let's grab a coffee this week. what's your schedule like"

The problem with asking her at a specific time/place is that she may genuinely be busy and even if she likes you, a soft rejection of "I can't i have X" creates negative precedent, whereas asking for schedule has a higher hit rate since she probably has exams, too. You could also fit a coffee better into your schedule than a drink.

You've already waited too long. But the wait probably made her more curious, if she was interested, so that's ok. I personally would not immediately ask her out like the other people are saying. Message her and gauge her response first

Unpopular opinion, but wait for 10 days or so to have passed before reaching out. Make her wonder what happened to that dude she was getting handsy with, then hit her up and surprise her. She's expecting to hear from you soon, break that expectation

Also, it’s not that hard to take a couple hours off studying in the evening. If you can’t do that you just have poor time management skills. Source: completed multiple degrees.

Next day and don't say "hey this is ------". If you have to do that she's forgotten you already.

Just say "Hey makeout girl, lets go get coffee".
