I usually have horribly luck with the ladies and my last real relationship was ended almost 3 years ago. I meet this girl online in a case of mistaken identity and we hit it off really well. talk every other day for a few hours have a lot of laughs.

We live maybe a hour apart, and we decide to hang out in person. everything goes great we just have a lot of a fun and talk a bunch.

we start talking more and sexual topics pop up every now and then. i go along with it as it n there flirting n whatnot, but never overtly sexual or anything blatant. We set a few more dates up and had a few days of random talking n what not. At this point it has been about a month of actually conversing.

Then she has an event happen to her, which i wont say on here but its for sure something that is real, and serious enough to have canceled both of the dates. we kept talking normally for a few days n then i get the one word conversation enders replys, which to be fare given the events was understandable. i stepped back and would check in to see if things were ok every now and then maybe 2 or 3 times in a week and i felt more of a distance and such. so i backed off a bit more and it stayed this way for another week or 2.

recently we chatted on the phone (which was new because up until then i didn't have her number just a messenger. and now things seem to have picked back up. we haven't really flirted again yet so its been a few weeks since that. what are some things i could do to gadge if she is still interested at all? what is your take on the situation. so far i feel like i am nailing this so far, even if i only get a good friend out of this, and i genuinely like this girl!
