She could also be doing other things and is busy. I'm not sure how old you are, but as a working adult you often will be slammed at work for a very long time, working out, at a social function, a concert, or whatever. And you can't text back for a few hours.
That is completely normal, so don't get all worried if it takes a while. She'll text back when she texts back. Absolutely nothing good will come of fretting about it.

One of the reasons I'm with my SO now is because he doesn't give a shit when I reply texts late. If it's urgent, he'll call.
This was even when we started dating casually.
