Just ran into a situation where I introduced myself to two girls during the day. The one i was attracted to was receptive but her friend was actively putting up a bitchy front without outright asking me to leave.

I was not openly flirting with either just so it didn't seem to be about me trying to bang her friend but got a few jokes in that got laughs from both but her friend made it obvious she really did not want me there... I lost my footing due to being discouraged and it got awkward so I just asked for my check and left without really talking to the girl I wanted to talk to and was frustrated with the entire encounter.

Are these situations best left alone? I understand why she was doing it. She wanted to hang out with her friend and not have some random dude there. I would have gone in, set up plans to hangout with the girl I was interested in, or both and then left but the encounter didn't even last long enough to show my intention.

Should I have tried to break down her bitch shield? Ask for their numbers and then be gone?
