So, long story short.
Cute girl at the gym front desk, I don't know her name.
The gym is throwing a party on Dec 21st.
Of course, I'm not particularly mr party-man. Classic.
So, I was going into the gym and I saw this sign here that says about the party, and she was at the front desk at that moment, so I turned and asked about the party, and she gave me a spreadsheet were you just had to sign up to be on the list of attendees.
And she said: "Here your name, phone number and this column is in case you want to bring a companion for it".
So, I just filled the form, my phone number and that was it.
I managed to ask her name but that was the end of the interaction.
BUT, it just struck me, fucking 10 hours later, that the situation would've been the best approach I could've done in my whole life.
So, same situation, but when she told me about the columns, this is what I think I should've done.
"Alright, can you tell me your name?"
"it's her name"
And at that moment fill out the form with her name on the third column where the companion should go, handle it back to her, just smile and tell her.
"Ok, here's my phone number, on the second column." or something similar.
I must say that I'm never sure about doing things like that because I don't want to fucking scare people, but I would like to know your thoughts about it.
thank you.
