About drinking alcohol:

I'm asking this because I just arrived home from a kinda shitty party and I was there totally sober.

I have read that most of you guys recommend approaching while sober. But since I have been going out at night since I was really young and never really went a night sober, is being really hard to have fun and not drinking.

Also, I want to stop drinking because my parents now want me to drive a car to the night, because hangovers have become worse and also because the girls I have seduced before don't look as good when I'm sober, and I kinda regret kissing them when I see them.

So like I said I just came from like a shitty party, I had to drive there, where I only knew 2 friends, everyone else was much younger which was weird af too, and I had to bail out because I never felt so awkward (yeah, I'm a pussy I know).

I have been in 2 parties where the music was shittier (in my opinion) and I was totally sober but I had more fun than usually, but I didn't have the same confidence as when I'm drunk. Usually when I'm drunk I always have the excuse of "I was drunk".

I wanna read your thoughts on how do I stop using alcohol as tool to have fun and approach :)

About feeling pressured to approach girls:

I hate to sound arrogant but the traits that people usually compliment on me is that I'm really looking, that I dress well (I try really hard to, classy looking etc., but just because I really like this style, no other reason) and that I'm funny (by the way, it's really cringe for me to say this things, I hate to talk good things about myself or to take compliments).

From my aunt to my female friends, everyone I know says this things, and they really expect me to have alot of success with girls, which makes feel more pressured. (I don't know if this matters, but I have a brother which my relatives never say the same thing, which tells me that they really mean it and they are not just being nice).

Last time I kissed a girl, a group of my female friends at my home town came up to me saying "I bet that you go crazy with girls at you uni" (implying that I kiss alot of girls where I study), I first laughed loud and they said they were serious.
Also that night another female friend from another group took me home (which was out of the way of hers, like 30min walk away from her home) annoyed with me that I kissed that girl and that I could do better, after I got home she even texted me shit saying like "You can get every girl you want, you are really good looking blah blah....".

All of this plus my male friends plus my parents saying this same bullshit over and over, that every time I go out I feel like I'm approaching a girl not because I really want to do it, but because everyone really expects me to do it, and to succeed, and this has been in my mind since I'm really young. Everyday I think about it to be honest.
(for me it really sounds like that meme of "suffering from success" but I really feel pressured by all of this).

What should I do about this?

TL;DR

As someone who never went out sober, how do I stop using alcohol as a tool for approaching and having fun?

Also my relatives and my friends keep pushing the Idea that I'm really good looking/well dressed/funny/etc. (even thought I don't feel like it) that kinda forces me approach girls not because I want, but because they expect me to have alot of success with girls.
