OK, so I've been getting this a lot and I do not understand it. Basically what happens is whenever I have successfully attracted a girl (and I'm very picky) and we have hit it off well it usually takes less than a month for me to get the "I don't want a relationship" talk.

That's fine, I never did either lol. I'm way too laid back these days to pursue a girl with any particular goal in mind; I just want to have fun because school and work suck the life out of me.

Then I get a text a few days later with an apology and the girl says "I just freak out" or something to that effect. Oftentimes they say something like "you're too good for me" or "the possibilities of our relationship scare me". We usually hang out again after that but it's not the same and I move on.

It's fine, I just move to the next girl, no big deal. But it happens pretty much every time. I definitely wouldn't mind a stable relationship with someone I click with and sometimes I DO get lonely for a partner. Can someone tell me just exactly what the hell is going on?
