Gday men, quick backstory, separated in Nov 2023 due to her 7 month long affair I discovered. Tried to reconcile for ~6 weeks which failed

Affair partner is 20 years older, obese, ugly, unemployed, etc and lost his wife in the process. Bizarre story but not the time and place for it here. There is no chance they are continuing or going public with the "relationship" now that its been exposed, and her mum is horrified, etc etc.

I initiated mediation back in Nov/Dec 2023, and was told it was unsuitable for us to have mediation. This could be due to how myself or her answered some phone interview questions, but who knows.

Fast forward to now and she has initiated mediation, and I've been told all parties are now just waiting/scheduling a date. Me, her, and our respective lawyers, and the mediator.

I do have a lawyer, but I cant realistically talk all day about ifs, whats, buts. I'm coming here for advice please - we are due to have 2 mediation days. The first will be regarding child care. Once we spend 2-5 hours, we'll have a court ordered agreement in place with all kinds of stipulations agreed to as far as Im aware. So Im asking, what are some future proofing things I should consider?

So far, I've come up with - no child pick up or drop off to anyone except her, or her mother. So that excludes her mothers new husband, and any future boyfriends for example.

Aside from that Im not coming up with much, so please suggest any thoughts.

There will be a 2nd day for the division of all assets and property, which realistically is the house we have a mortgage on, we each have a car, if there's any advice here please let me know. I expect I'll be getting screwed on the house, we earn the same income, but she will have primary care of the kids so Im expecting a 60/40 or 65/35 split of the value of the house. Any advice here also welcome
