Do whatever it takes to feel safe. I had random things disappear during my divorce. Had no clue that my wife was coming into the house. She tricked the youngest into giving her the garage code.

My wife now is divorced from a psycho as well. Her ex showed up drunk and wanting to talk at 3am. We were able to submit over 2 hours of footage from our cameras to validate the need for a protection order.

I filed for exclusive use of the marital home and so then she could no longer come back in the house until her assigned move out that was in the divorce. It helped me keep my sanity.

I had some already and put more up after she filed. She even attempted to get the court to force me to give her access to the cameras. My main reason was to document things that she would take and felt entitled to. In my case, even though she no longer lived here, she technically could come and go as she pleased until the divorce was finalized.

Be sure to add cloud storage.

I think is a good idea.

Maybe you can add an alarm service ,It usually came with cameras

If you have any spare phones laying around, use an app called "AlfredCam".

Turns your cell phones into a security camera network. Subscription costs $80 per year. Cheapest option I've found. It has recording and you can view it from anywhere.

I have one set up and used it to call ch her bad mouthing me.to the kids.
