I think I finally understand the meaning of this.

Our marriage is falling apart. Whatever I do, seems to be wrong and causes more problems. On top of that I was diagnosed with MS while my wife was 6 mo pregnant.

Basically by the time the brain swelling was starting to fade. And I was on medications for it I was now a new dad. I wish the lead up to the pregnancy I would have been more clear headed. But I had several distractions, and I really thought it would make it better.

No, it doesn’t. I’m personally having a hell of a time keeping up with our 3 yo. I’m still foggy and slow at times. And it results in my not actioning correctly, or not actioning at all until it’s too late. (Things I’m told) but dang, I’m trying so freakin hard. My balance is shit. I fall over all the time now. Even just getting up and down is hard AF when my legs feel like I’ve run a marathon and I’m a dozen or so steps out of bed. It’s beyond frustrating that my 36 yo body is failing like this. We recently visited her 84 yo grandma, it was eye opening watching the way she moved. It was like looking in a freakin mirror, and she even called out my movements as being wonky as heck. (She doesn’t know about ms. Most of the fam does but it wasn’t like a big announcement)

Bed times have recently becomes beyond difficult. Our kid really, just doesn’t like me? Idk it seems whatever I do aside from letting him do him erupts terribly. But when mommy comes it’s fine and perfect. She is also delightfully obtuse RE this dynamic and it’s effects on our relationship. She just keeps going on about how she has to do everything. And honestly at this point I feel like I just need to back the ef off

Has anyone else found themselves in similar situations ?
