Well yeah. Radicals tend to be shitty people in general.

That's just society these days. Notice how the dad minds his own fucking business and actually cares about his child.

We live in a society.

This is a comic and does in no way reflect real life

You're right. It's definitely not a mainstream feminist narrative that men generally make worse parents or aren't to be trusted around children, or even that children do not need a father at all.
And there are clearly no women anywhere in society that gossip about or disparage other parents, especially men, whilst simultaneously neglecting their own children or otherwise being bad parents. That would never happen. 🙄

I agree with you, but I meant that the rules of this subreddit state that only examples from real life should be used. And this is a comic.

Not true. Memes are allowed too.
EDIT: Just expand the description for the real world examples rule.

Comics aren’t memes, lol

And you're being pedantic to the point of appearing disingenuous.
[–]ronja-6660 points1 point2 points 6 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
Why do you feel the need to make it personal?
[–]ClowntownDenisen1234[S] 0 points1 point2 points 6 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
How is that personal? You are, as a matter of fact, gatekeeping the content of this sub in a pedantic fashion. And to such a degree that it's difficult to imagine you are doing do out of a genuine desire to preserve the quality of the content, rather than a cynical desire to try and tear it down.

I mean, I guess the situation in the comic would occasionally happen but it’s such an extreme example that I think it’s a bit unfair and can misinform people who take it too serious.
I don’t have the “cynical desire to tear it down”, I’m just being critical.
Also I wouldn’t say I’m gatekeeping, I’m just trying if the rules apply on this particular content.
Also, calling someone pedantic is somewhat personal.
