Are Men Finished? Intelligence Squared Debate

Just my opinion, haven't watched the debate: the only way men are "finished" if there is continued society wide efforts to finish them off, to isolate and demonize them, like making it difficult for boys to be boys and to learn and understand in the ways the best suit them, and having young men suffer unemployment and a lack of education, with the lack of education having a significant negative effect for the state of future societies.

At best, women will trudge along but there'll be no doubt that with men being "finished", human civilization will have entered a dark age, a period of intellectual and scientific stagnation. There may be some women scientists, engineers, and architects but men far outnumber women by virtue of their superior intellect, and women will be hard pressed to fill in those massive shoes. For the big questions, the answers, the big advancements, the revolutionary thinking, lies squarely in the domain of the male mind. The decline of men we see is artificial, as result of societal carelessness to the needs of boys and men, as men and boys are thrown under the bus in favor of girls and women, and feminine ways of doing things.

I don't give a shit about civilization, since that I won't be living forever, but without men, humanity has not even a snowball's chance in hell of making it out of the solar system and beyond. Women don't have the mental capacity to achieve greatness, and never will (without some sort of mental augmentation by way of artificial implements, which will have to be designed in order for it to be put into wide scale use). Women will never make great leaps in STEM--not anytime soon at least--leaps that are necessary to power humanity to a new age, or a Type 1 civilization on the "Kardashev scale". They might invent apps or little doodads that serve basic functions, but when it comes to what truly matters, women are ultimately incapable of producing the results needed to power humanity forward. We need geniuses for that, and we all know that genius is a characteristic of the male, not the female.

With all the said, by the time we are extinct as a species (and it will happen sooner or later), the totality of human achievement and the honors that come with it will fall into the category of men. Men had to do the thinking, the building, the dying, the discovering. They took risks, and risk taking is another characteristic of men, that sometimes ended in death or failure, and success.*

Men aren't finished, natural pregnancy will be finished as the inferior option when artificial wombs are available.

It's very expensive and inefficient to carry thousands of women in a spaceship to colonize planets. It's much easier to have artificial wombs on a ship that can grow and incubate people when it arrives on a planet.

1.) Perfect artificial sperm.

2.) Perfect Robots.
