A video game is a beautiful example of human ingenuity and cooperativeness.

That said, I would never work in such a passion-based industry as work hours will be incredibly inflated and income restricted as there will be a glut of starry-eyed ideologists that continue to offer their ability in the industry. You should experience the grinder for yourself though so that you can have no regrets knowing you tried your passion.

You can download Unity for free. There is nothing stopping you from learning game development right now. Make your own game or two and then apply to some game studios. It's that simple.

Yes, relatively speaking. What you're describing exists in many modern careers. So you may as well just choose based on what interests you, rather than to try to purify your MGTOW.

One way to enhance your MGTOW level if you end up in an office setting, you try to avoid as many extraneous events as possible. They're made by women for women. It won't actually help you get a raise if you are an organizer for 'Be the Change!' or whatever other dumbass activities your cuck manager encourages you to attend. Fuck all of that.

Programmers are some of the coolest guys in any company I've ever worked at.

I went to school specifically to get into games industry. Almost graduated, good looking career prospects from 2 great internships. But I'm looking for game adjacent or general tech work because I've only heard horrible things about the game industry. The feminism aspects youre talking about aren't too prevalent but its less money and way worse working conditions than other programming jobs. But I've made a bunch of c++ custom engine games. Lmk if you have any questions about game dev.

Go for it man. Make your own games to start. Like one of the guys said up top Unity is free. And there's always Udemy if you need cost effective instruction and get tired of trying to youtube answers to yer questions.

Hell I am finally starting to learn Swift3 so I can start building apps and start freelancing myself.

Just think of it this way man. You only really need one hit to be set for life. Especially if you keep things frugal. Just keep grinding till you get that hit. You'll have to work yer ass off. But it will feel great once you get there. Just make sure you enjoy the journey.

And if AAA development is the job you want don't quit till you get there. Go get'em brother.

From what I hear, working in the video game industry is basically like trying to be an actor in Hollywood. There's no real "permanent job", instead you have to compete to be included in a project every time and hope the company agrees to take you.
