It's easy for the woman not the man. The man is the one who has to pay and pay and pay for the rest of his life while she sits on her fat ass and receives free money for having a vagina.

I see people saying that divorce is too easy.

It is too easy for a woman to cheat and then take a man's children, house, savings and future earnings.

If divorce was fair, just and didn't 100% favor women and throw men under the bus then we wouldn't have a problem with divorce being "easy".

There is a "theory" that one reason it is so difficult for 80% or so of guys to find partners is that we don't encourage everyone to get into long-term marriages that are difficult to get out of. If that were the case, the top 20% of guys would mostly get married, and the remaining non-married women would have to "settle" for the lower 80% of guys, which they supposedly tend not to even consider as partners today.

Supposedly that is more like how things used to be in the USA.

I say, what's the point at this stage? Can you imagine trying to reverse so many of the changes to society since the 1960's?

And even if you could, I don't think you would want to encourage people who aren't attracted to each other (or not very much) to get married and stay married. I know that I wouldn't want a woman pretending to like me because "all the good-looking guys were already married."

It isn’t the men who are filing for divorces. More than half end in divorce and up to 80% are women filing cause their bored with their marriage. Yep, you heard it right. Bored.

Divorces used to be hard to get. They were not socially acceptable. Then feminism came in waves and made divorce easy and no fault.
