Mostly, Korean women do not approach GIs in the street. That happens in the clubs. Stay out of the clubs/bars (on post & off post). Stay away from the "buy me drinky" girls. Learn some of the language. Eat Korean food every day you are there. Travel around the country when you can. Shopping is second to none for electronics, clothes etc. There's a lot more to do in Korea than stay drunk for a year.

Whatever else you do remember this: Don't get married!

Never tell them what you do, although you'll probably stick out like a sore thumb, especially if you have a high and tight (And if you're white or black). If you travel around the country, try to pass off as a poor student. Never tell them you have money.
